Johnny was our waiter. Easy on the eyes and very easy to talk to. Just saying that because I'm single ha ha. He was amazing and super sweet! Offered many options on the menu with advice. Brought samples so we could try without us even asking! I believe the owner or manager was also helping us, and he was super attentive to his employees and his customers which is a bonus! The staff was very courteous and available for all our needs! They could upgrade their raw fish options and I'd be a regular!!
Excellent sushi! We had the Alaska Roll and Ichiban rolls and they were quite good. Better than we expected with not too much rice as you get in other places. And the service was fantastic. We wanted to order a bottle of wine and they had no wine list, so we just ordered by the glass. Pretty good Chardonnay for $8. The soy sauce on the table was not low sodium, but we probably could have asked for some, so that's on us.
Not sure why the reviews were low. We were greeted right upon entering and seated right away even though it seemed a bit busy for spring break. Food was great and we really loved the tuna on the hot stone. Our favorite roll was the Boston roll. The food was fairly priced in our opinion.
Jenny was a very kind waitress. Our food was really good. Even my kids lived the rolls. Our favorites were the butter yellowtail and the crunchy roll. The Hawaiian Poke was also really good.
The food was good on its own, and the service itself was very nice. I was at first a little nervous and questionable about the place due to bad reviews, but all around the restaurant was a great first experience for myself. Was a little pricy, but was fair portions and felt full after, would recommend and come again.
I was surprised to find a decent sushi place around this area. Tasted really good, priced decent. The waitress was very nice
We decided to go here for my niece's birthday, while visiting SPI. Alex, the chef was AMAZING!! He added a lot of fun to the evening. He even got my niece to try steak medium-rare, and she ate all of it!! (This is a "well-done" girl). Alex made her birthday very special!!
It's been a long time since I've been here ,I remember the last time we had such great service and food...and this visit didn't disappoint at all!!!! We came right around 4 and the place was super quiet and clean (it always has when I've came) This time the owner was here and he is such a nice man he welcomed everyone in with a big big smile!!!! Love this place!!!!!!
Can always count on a good meal here with friendly folks. They do everything right. Sushi is consistently good. Reasonable prices too.
